| Nyx smirks at Gale, enjoying this moment. Ranna glimmers faintly in his left hand, reflecting the last of the ambient evening light. "You think you still stand any chance? I didn't think even you were that foolish, Gale. Look around you. You're the only one still able to stand, and even then you're wounded. This has all played out perfectly. I see now why Rand enjoys meddling from afar, it can be quite entertaining. Now it's time to end this. It's time to die, Gale!" Like a ghost, Nyx sweeps forward along the ground as a blur, gently upsetting a path through the leaf-covered forest floor. Before the leaves can even return to rest, time seems to slow and he appears directly in front of Gale, his usual smirk absent, instead replaced with a cold, terrifying stare. He steps off with his right foot and Ranna rises and lunges forward, piercing through the air like an arrow, aimed carefully at Gale's chest cavity. A spark of light erupts along the edge of the blade and seems to tear through the air and the universe itself. |

| Gale's eyes slowly closes as Nyx spoke. His aura faded, and Gale went into a state of meditation with hearing as his only active sense. He heard his former ally's words clearly and felt the wind change in less then a second. As Ranna came crashing down Gale eyes fluttered open and Sin appeared in his right hand. He concentrated all of his aura into his blade, draining him of all his previous magic power. Gale spoke in a voice that didn't try to hide his exhaustion, and often paused to take long, deep breaths. "You're like Rand in more was then one. Maniplative, and arrogant. You both forget what you are, and what [/B]I[B] am. I was mastering spells long before either of you existed. My power is greater then anything either of you could hope to achieve. You're both simply boys playing with fire, but I am fire! This world and everything in it is mine and I'll be DAMNED if some human scientist and his side show freaks try take what is mine! Nemo me impune lacessit!!" Gale pushed Sin, trying to overpower Nyx's Ranna. |

Ranna clangs violently against Sin and the two become locked in a tug of war, rattling and shrieking as both try to overcome the other. "You were a fool to ever trust me, Gale. Trust. How ironic that that would be your downfall!" The light streaking along the edge of Ranna explodes into a stream of energy flowing backwards along the blade, like a broken water main. Like a razor blade, Ranna tears into the world and creates a passage into another. An ear-blasting boom blasts the forest for a split second, then a shockwave throws itself out from the hole of light.
For several moments, every sense becomes overwhelmed by light and a constant rumbling sound, then gives way to the sound of snapping wood, progressively becoming more rapid and distant. Trees for hundreds of feet around blow over and snap in half as the shockwave progresses, as if someone had dumped a pale of water over a forest of toothpicks. Shards and splinters of wood jump in waves into the air and thick clouds of dirt and sawdust rise in their wake. |

| Gale had used all of his power to strengthen Sin to match Ranna, and thus had no means to protect himself from the shockwave. The force of the blast threw Gale into the ground and the earth split as he slid deeper and deeper into the soil. Bones imeadiately snapped and Gale let out a bloody gurgle that was ment to be a scream. After a few moments of silence a bloodied Gale crawled out. The Abbis' whole body was drenched in dirt and blood and he twitched uncontrollably due to all the damage done to his bones. Gale holds out his right hand shakingly and Sin returns to it's master. Gale seems unable to speak anymore, but his voice rings in Nyx's head. "....I may have to die here, but I swear that you will not leave this time in the same shape you entered it." Gale holds Sin with both hands now and awaits the second Fury brother's next attack. |

| Below the spot where Nyx had unleashed Ranna, the ground sizzles and smokes, expressing its discontent through shocks of static electricity crackling along the cut gouged in the earth by the attack. Nyx walks through the thin cloud of smoke, unharmed by his own attack. "You look like a defeated animal right now. Beaten, ruined, out of places to run, ways to attack. The last of the Abbis, old enough to have known Christ, powerful enough to have nearly destroyed the world! This is the mighty Gale!" He walks closer, raising Ranna over his shoulder again, the arrogance of victory sparkling in his eyes. |

| Gale's eyes remained locked on Nyx and Ranna. He allows the contact to break for a moment as he spits out a large amount of blood from his mouth, giving his teeth an almost yellow color. He then speaks in a quiet voice hardly above a whisper, but his words are mentally projected making it seem as if he were speaking normally. "...You have stated what I am, but what are you? The Greatest Assasin, Nyx? More like the Greatest Servant, Nyx. Since that is all you are, despite how independant you pretend to be. You have no greater purpose. You're no better then some beast. A slave to your master. So what if you win and return to our time, and Rand becomes a god? All you've done is carried out master's wishes. You have no will, no freedom! You sicken me. I rather die free then live as a pawn. Even that bitch Ayn has more of a life then you do. So go ahead and kill me, I'll die laughing." Gale smirks and Nyx, despite his speech he wasn't quite ready to die. He still had some fight in him. |

The cave that Karakuri and Rikali are hidden in trembles under the shockwave. Huge boulders of stone tumble down over the entrance, entrapping the two demon's in what could become their tomb.
Rose somehow advoids being killed in the blast, the magical barrier around her repelling a large amount of debris. However, she is covered in deep scratches on her arms and face and her broken wrist was further crushed under a large boulder. She struggles to free herself, sobbing in pain as the broken bones grind together. |

Coughing harshly from the dust and debris that she'd accidently inhaled
during the cave-in, Karakuri blinked open her eyes and checked to see if
Rikali was okay and not injured further than she already was. Rikali was still
breathing, but was apparently unconcious. Wrapping her silken tail around
her waist, Karakuri held the injured woman close to herself as she thought
up a plan of how she could try and get them out of the mess they'd gotten into.
Readjusting her grip on Rikali, she checked to see if she wasn't injured herself
from the rockslide. Wincing, she learned that one of her long ears had been cut
and was now bleeding - which she discovered upon examining her hand after
she touched it. Just lovely..... Got herself healed only to go and get hurt again.
At least it wasn't a serious wound.
Eyeing the boulders which blocked the cave entrance, Karakuri pondered in her
mind as to which of her gifts could possibly aid in trying to break out. She hoped
this wouldn't take too long - who know's how much air this place has. While she
thought over how she could get her and Rikali out of the cave, Karakuri nervously
fingered the large beads on her lucky necklace she always wore around her neck. |

| "Peh! You think I still answer to Rand? That was no lie back in New Myria. When I return, I'll kill the fool myself!" Like a hammer coming down on a piece of wood, Nyx smashes Ranna into the ground before Gale. Light spills out around the blade and the ground cracks into a single jagged line, shooting out like a lightning bolt below Gale's feet. The light around Ranna intensifies and rushes down the wound in the ground, forcing it into a wide gap and flooding it like a newly built canal. The force of the blast spews rocks and debris into the air as it progresses and knocks over anything in it's way. |

| Gale is tossed out of the crater like a ragdoll and lands on the ground with a loud crack. Another broken rib. Gale slowlys stands again, Gale had stamina even in this condition. However, it wouldn't hold out much longer. "You overlook something. Creators never make their creations more powerful then themselves. Fool." Since all of his energy was in Sin, the blade transformed into a gun. The barrel glowed as energy focused in the barrel. Gale pointed the barrel at the ground behind him and smirked. "See you in hell!" Gale fired and the blast threw him into the air and he maneuvered himself to land above Nyx. Sin transformed in a blade again, dark energy bathing the Abbissian sword. Gale lets out a battle cry as he brings his sword down on Nyx with the force of a meteor. |

For the first time, fear flashes across Nyx's face. He starts to pivot and turn, but there simply isn't enough time.
This was going to hurt.
Sin connects with Nyx's shoulder and slices straight through it. The energy released by Gale's attack drowns out the sunset and replaces it with an eerily horrifying black and white. Everything seems to stop except for the stream of blood shooting straight up into the air from Nyx's shoulder and the blood pouring around his entire left side, splattering the ground and Gale.
After a moment, light shows through a blood-drenched gap running down Nyx's shoulder to his waist. The space gradually grows wider until his arm and a horrific piece of his torso fall to the ground with a thud. |

| Gale lands on his feet despite his bones continuing to crack. He picks up what was left on Nyx's arm and pries Ranna out of it. He spins Sin and Ranna. "Don't fuck with the best, you backstabbing prick." |

| Nyx doesn't reply. Instead he gasps and chokes, and begins to tremble violently. He was going into shock and his body was preparing to shut itself down. Blood sprays from the arteries that were delivering blood to his arm and lung only a moment ago, now delivering to the air. He falls to his knees, wide-eyed, and convulses. |

| Nyx coughs up blood and clears his throat, trying to speak. "N-never..." He tries to stand, but can only get one leg up, so he looks over his left shoulder--what should have been his left shoulder--at Gale. "You're going to die here. No matter what happens to me." |

| Gale presses Sin against what's left of his shoulder. The blade heats up and then becomes white with heat. It manages to cauterize the veins and artieres in his shoulder, and causing Nyx very extreme amounts of pain. "Wanna stick with that? I'm bloody wounded and I beat your ass." |

| "Gale..." A twig breaks under someone's foot. Fury takes a step towards the two, clutching his left shoulder and wincing his right eye shut. He had forced himself to get up during the fight. To his surprise, Gale had taken Nyx down. Through his blurred vision, he stares at Gale, trying to make something out. "...Do you have... T-that damned sword?" |

| "Yeah, I j-just need to..." Weakly, Fury removes his right hand from his shoulder and takes the weapon. He looks it over, as if he was checking to make sure it was the same sword. Then he looks around the air, looking for something. Something no one else could see. Tiny points of light appear in his vision, scattered around the land like stars. He selects one nearby and smirks. "Now departing the hell out of here, gate 12..." Ranna comes up over his head, then down through the point of light. Thunder reverberates on impact, accompanied by a flash of light that morphs into a deep black circle. The edges glow violet and bands of light swirl around it. A white glow begins to emerge from the center of the void, growing wider until it fills the entire space, then gives way to an image: Grass, trees, buildings, scattered across hills. A road runs through the trees. "...Time to leave." |

| Fury looks at the ground, thinking. "...No. We can't. Once he realizes he's trapped, he'll try to change history. Make some of us never exist. And... We can't... Just go get him." He sighs and lowers the sword and looks back into the portal. |

In the cave, Rikali slowly regains conciousness. Groaning, she pushes her beat body up into a sitting posistion and vomits. "Damn Nyx to the depths of Hell.." She raises her head and takes stock of her surroundings. "Ouch. Just great. I'm stuck in a cave. Anyone else here?" |
